I’m looking for popular movies that provide any sort of commentary or that deals with the television news, either as its main focus or incidentally. Here are the ones I already have on my list:

The Insider
Network
Good Night, and Good Luck
Natural Born Killers
To Die For
Wag the Dog
The Second Civil War
Switching Channels
Dog Day Afternoon
Groundhog Day
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Hotel Rwanda
Syriana
TMNT
Scary Movie 3
Tomorrow Never Dies
Hero

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Here goes. The other day (and yes, I was initially shocked) I watched the “Nude News” on television.

Granted, it was a subsidary show coming from Playboy, but aired in all seriousness in Germany, England, Holland, Italy and Spain for anyone to view (if one has the European sky, satellite T.V. system, etc, etc, etc). The point is, the news was accurate, up to date and even offered debate, commentary, etc. The women (no men) were toally nude. So, I am wondering if watsching nude news would distract the populace, population from watching the news and instead just concentrating on the nude women or…would many people do both? I”m just rambling here, bu I do wonder if the current news casters for Fox, CNN (you name it) would agree to airing the news, nude (not airing their laundry) if the price was right. Usually, these people would lower themselves to anything if it meant keeping their six figure salaries.
