Rev. Cleophus asked: According to the L.A. Times:

NEW YORK — The news that the Rev. Jesse Jackson took a crude swipe at Sen. Barack Obama this week put renewed scrutiny on the relationship between the veteran civil rights activist and Democratic presidential contender.
O’Reilly told viewers that the network had decided to air only portions of what Jackson had said, saying there was “more damaging” material.
Shine declined to comment on what else Jackson said, adding that news executives were in discussions about whether to air more of the tape.

It’s a free country, but it’s not THAT free. You had better vote for who you are told to.

Geena asked: I’ve been watching a lot of the commentary on presidential primaries. It seems to me that almost all of the media is completly biased for Obama and against Clinton. Every news story about Hillary is negative, while no one has really asked Obama “the tough questions”. I’m actually an Obama suppourter, but still…I think they should make more of an attempt to have balanced coverage.

labhigh asked: Many news persons write books about what they know most about. Brokaw has written several and I don’t think anyone has asked him to recuse himself from Meet the Press/Morning Joe/commentary on the night of debate. Is there more to this? A way out for Palin, perhaps? I know it’s not sexism or that other ism.
